I am a biologist, photographer, videographer, writer and presenter.  I document organisms and their habitats in effort to help conserve wild places.  I believe that beautiful imagery of nature can be a powerful tool to educate, inspire and make a positive change for conservation of habitat and biodiversity.

For many years, I worked as Assistant curator and Videographer at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Macaulay Library.  To take a look at over 6000 of my clips, click Audio and Video and visit my Macaulay Library archive pages.

I film, photograph and audio record nature for print media, the web and documentary film.

I teach workshops in Natural history photography, videography and audio recording.  Please contact me if you are interested.

In 2023 I will be offering photo tours to Nome, Alaska, Norway and Ecuador.  Please contact me if you are interested in hearing more about any of these opportunities.
